Having heard colleagues talking about the wonderful experience they’d had working with Dr. Chinnis, when I ‘graduated’ to a new full-time executive role, I reached out to the person I thought could best help me prepare for success. No surprise, Ann was wonderful in helping me identify my personal work style and be aware of how that would impact my relationships with others on the leadership team. She assisted me with developing a plan for working and collaborating with my direct reports, and encouraged me to clearly define a stegy to convey my expectations to all so everyone would be successful. Nine months in, I feel confident that my success in leading is the result of this work with Ann, and while we touch base periodically, the techniques and approaches are part of my daily tools.
